King's Home was totally reconstructed in 2018, houses 3 modern accommodations which were refurnished the year after. Located in the heart of Galanádo - a typical Greek village, 5 kms away from Naxos Town (Chóra) - it is the ideal place for all kind of visitors not wanting to stay in a crowded tourist area. A vehicle is recommended to be independent and free parking is available at two official parking lots on a short walking distance and additionally in and around the village, wherever one finds parking space.

LOCATION

King's Home is located in the center of Galanádo, a typical Greek village with lots of lovely and welcoming inhabitants. The small village is built amphitheatrically on a slope with fantastic views of the lush valley of Livadi and further beyond, the capital of the island "Chora". Within a short walking distance from the King's Home you will find a Butcher Shop, the Café "Ton Fillon" with a kids playground (offering food from the BBQ in the evenings as well) and a traditional Greek coffee place "Drillis" which is also functioning as a kind of supermarket selling essentials and operating as a little Taverna (serving breakfast in the morning and Souvlaki & Salads in the evening). In the closest neighborhood the Greek Orthodox church of "The Holy Spirit" built in 1780 can be visited and at times the church bells can be heard.

ABOUT THE HOUSE OWNERS
Hi, we are the King Family, well-travelled Europeans with a deep love for Naxos Island, the Greek culture, its history, environment, food and weather - of course the Mediterranean location, the sun, the special light of this area, different winds, and Naxos’s natural sites, wild and rocky interior and beaches – all have influenced us to establish our Home away from home on this beautiful island. We correspond in English, German, Dutch and Greek. You might incidentally happen to even meet us during your stay as we could at the same time occupy one of our places ourselves. In case of an emergency there will always be somebody at your disposal.
